Title: Sound!!

One day sound was fine, next day, no sound at all....running a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 sound card.
error message...a required xxx.DLL file is of an incorrect version

error message...xxx.DLL file cannot be found

Should I reinstall sound card soft ware or windows??
and....where in the hell did it go????...LOL

well try sound drivers and then direct x 8.1 ..

u shouldn't have to reinstal windows

and then do a virus scan..
