Those retards included DX8.1 to the downloadable demo package.. What idiots.
The rest of the game wasn't much better than the installation package..
It was fancy, moody music etc.. But no playability at all. The targeting controls were.. err.. they weren't there.

where can i DL that demo at?

I downloaded the demo three times from two different locations, every time it gives an error during unzipping at 84%'s while moving a eula text file...
Anyone has the same problem, or better yet a solution?
Thanks

Have you tried WinRar Thud?
Use the repair utilility, if they put a recovery record in the archive it will repair it.
Best archiver on the planet.

Skurj - it sounds interesting. You tried it yet? Is it worth the d/l now or more of a wait and see thing?

IMO enigma is still at beta stage - that or it just hasn't been planned very well. I really liked the ways they tried to create atmosphere to the game but the single player side at least seemed very unfinished and rough.
Hint: I got the eula error at first time when I tried to install it and was surfing pr0.. erm reading hardware reviews at the same time. Second time I started the unpack it went just fine. But I still can't understand how someone can be so retarded to include a full DX installation to a downloadable demo LOL.

Haven't tried the game myself guys...
Somethin to note though is that the game is not intended to be single player... I think they just tossed a little single player package together to give them something to charge you up front for....
anyone know if u can wash a logitech keyboard?

I downloaded it from their main site and had no problems.
It did seem a little rough as people have said, but I think that once get polish it out a bit that the multiplayer could be pretty fun. I haven't seen a good single player navy game in quite a while.
*cough* Aces of The Deep ;)

Tried it... quite fun I must say... true - absolutely no targeting system - still figuring out how to track enemy sub --- everything seemed so much easier in "Silent Service". All I achieved so far is shooting down some enemy planes... :D
Nice atmosphere though
