ok, heres the scoop... I put together an AMD XP 2000,gforce4 MX440, 512 DDR ram, IBM 102 gig HD 7200 RPM blah blah.. so i could use my P3 800 for a server....

Well I Absolutely HATE AMD!!!
and my secretary's comp needed upgrading so.....

Sold the AMD ( broke even on price) Gave my secretary my P3 800, took her AMD 500, and sold that. I put together my dream machine...

P4 2.53 (533 BUS)
T-4600
dual 102 gig IBM 7200 HD's on (Raid)
asus p4s8x mobo
8x AGP
cable Modem
Pc2700 ram (256 need more)

Now yesterday My bud drops off the OS..HAha, now no comp to put it in....

I should have a server put together in about 2 weeks:)

BTW Nuttz, when it comes out do you mind if I use your textures in my own programs? (I can include credit if ya want, but I doubt I will be puttin any of my programs for download on the web or selling em anytime soon cuz right now I stink! lol)

well... I kinda doubt it  since so much work goes into tiles and it's kind of a signature thing..

why did you hated AMD? I have a xp2000 and I love it.

If it was for performance issues you should have looked at the gf4 MX

I put the P4 2.53 together 6 weeks after the AMD xp2000 and it was cheaper and MUCH better, that price included the t-4600 and faster Ram. I'm not saying the AMD is bad at all, it is a screamer, but for the same price, I got the P4 w/ 533 bus and the better Gforce card, I'd be a fool not to unload the AMD since i had the chance.
