Title: Operation Sealion
Post by: Puck on September 30, 2002, 03:11:01 PM
And thus begins what may yet prove to be the bloodiest battle in history...

Saturday the RAF gave a worthy showing against the Luftwaffe.  Outnumbered and outgunned, the pilots of the RAF held the German war machine at bay, though at terrible cost.

117 RAF fighters were lost to only 74 for the Luftwaffe, but those brave pilots held the line.  Not a single RAF airbase was closed, not a single Royal Navy ship was damaged.

Now the real battle begins.  Operation Sealion.  This Saturday at 6:00 PM Eastern time the RAF will need all the help it can muster to throw the Huns back into the sea.

The call is out for Squadrons interested in some of the most intense air to air combat against the best the Luftwaffe has to offer.  There will be no REMFs in this fight, every pilot will be on the front line.

Walkons are always welcome.  In the air battle the WOD squadron gave an excellent accounting for itself.

This is AH at its finest, with clear goals and unparralleled teamwork.  If you've ever wondered what the SA arena is for, now is the time to find out for yourselves.

Any squadrons interested in flying for the RAF this saturday please email puck@xenon135.com so I can send out orders prior to the event.

We want YOU for the RAF!  :D
