Title: joystick problem?
Post by: Chaos68 on September 30, 2002, 03:47:59 PM
Im looking on something to help me set up my joystick with the PITCH and ROLL in the AH setup?

I have a Microsoft forcefeedback2 and it seems like i cant pull up fast enough.

I tryed it out in the 109-g10 and the La7 and in both planes i couldnt pull up fast enough.
I know speed has alot to do with it but i tryed at 100mph and 200mph in both planes and i had almost the same problem.

For example i was in a turn fight in my 109 and i was fighting a p51 and i just couldnt snap and roll or bank to get him then finally i ended up being a lawn dart at 200mph because i couldnt pull up in time. :(

can anyone help?

Have you tried it with the FF turned off? Do you get the same effect?

Where are the damper & sliders set at for pitch?

There are a LOT of variables.

Turbot told me that if u set all ur sliders to  the top and but ur dead bands and damping down to the bottem, it works great and i can actually turn fight now, this setting allows u complete control and manueverability of ur aircraft :)
