I believe that the wheels are for take-off, they are then jettisoned, and then you land on the skids.

ahhhhhhh.......cuz there was a later version with retractiable wheels thanx.........
-
Don't believe the model with wheels ever saw service, it was just a prototype.

Actually, the Me-163 with the retractable landing gear was the Me-263. It had a raised canopy, electrical/hydraulic system powered by a three-blade "windmill".
It had a tricycle landing gear, about 50% more propellant, and 150 rounds for each of the cannons.
Question I have are we going to get the 163D model (used in summer of 44) with the newer Walter 109-509C motor with a main chamber and a small chamber for extended-endurance cruise... :)

I try to stay sensible and fair when I read posts but sometimes I just want to bang heads....
You'll get whatever you get... and it'll be in two weeks!
In this case its already been designed and built so hassling for wierd types or low build versions is pointless....
aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrgghhhhh!

The wheels are for take off only. They will jetison after takeoff, and you will use the skid to land. I'm not sure about how the fuel will work. That is up to Hitech and Pyro.
