How did they get the plane to remain motionless so that it wouldn't blurr from the low shutter speed like the propeller did ?

I think it's a great background for a LW web site.

Close... should of taken it with a digital camera to get blur on the plane in the background.

But you got the vintage look down.

Cool guys :)

Kawessa, I like it, but then again... I dunno if the darknes, blurryness and everything just seems crazy to me hehe..

WulF, I really Like the Frame Idea.

I see that you added a fadeing of somesort.../blurring.
I like it.

I just hope that you guys dont ever think that old photos have to look blurry. ;) Ive seen a few that are quite crisp still :)

Cool efforts, keep em comming I like all the creatiity we have going here.

True, it depends on movement, shutter speed and camera position (in a stable plane, vibrating plane or on the ground) and other circumstances.

In the case of a distant plane manuevering at high speed, they will typically be blurred (which is why I blurred that plane in the background more) while I added only a slight blur to the 109 in the foreground.

BTW, is that a Yak-1 in the background? Looks like a razorback version of the Yak or possibly a LaGG?

Its actually another 109 :)

It dosnt look so much like it because I changed the shape alittle, drew it  over in a way.

THe pictures that im posting here, are not really being made by "filters".. im actually going through and editiing pixel by pixel on certain things in order to get the LOD that in my eye is necessary.

The only thing that I have really used as a Filter is the "grain", other than that, I go-over the original picture and add/take away certain areas of plane or light through extreme zoom, and shaping tools.

Hope this helps.
