(I'm trying save some people the bother of hijacking threads)
I tried WWII Online when it first came out and was thoroughly disgusted. I do like the *idea* of the game and thought about giving it another go when I came across the cd this weekend.
However I only have a 56K modem so downloading 100Mb+ patches isn't really feasible for me (particularly as I only get to spend a couple of weekends a month at home so I don't want to waste what time I have on a huge download). I'm wondering how many of us poor 56Kers are in the same boat? Will $trategy Frist/CRS be putting out a new cd and will us poor suckers who bought the first one be able to get it for free?

Nope. But they did have some deal a while back with Gigex where you could get it for $5 or so. Not sure if its still running.

No no no! You're waaay wrong. Jesus studied under Buddha, not Lao Tzu, during his younger years. It's well documented in the Buddhist monestaries.
And yes, eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches DOES make you feel like Elvis (Costello).

Man superfly, you would think being in Texas, you would know how to spell it. It's nanner sandwiches.

What happened to him? Dunno really, but I'd imagine most of his auditions after that show ended with, "I'm sorry, but we're looking for someone with a little more range. Actually, any kind of range would be nice... even the slightest hint of it."

Living in Memphis, I went to our local 7-11 and saw Elvis having a Slurpy. He said, Nana Sammys, Thank you very much. Then he left the building.

Jack Webb... dead guy.
Actually the creator of Dragnet and I think directed and produced many of the shows. I didn't know he was a jazz musician though.
