Of these 3, which do you think is the best turning aircraft?

 A6m-2 Zero
 FM2
 Spit Mk I
-
I have extremly limited experience flying a turn plane or even turn fighting but, I'm goint to go with the Spit 1

 I'd go with the Zeke.

Depends on how or what you are refering to.

If you mean real life then it's the zero.

In the game, I don't know as I haven't compared them.

The Zeke by far turns better.  That thing'll practically spin in place on its axis.  I had one try to lead turn me from about 1k out when they were first introduced... it turned so well that he did a 180 in front of me, allowing me to blow him away from dead six.

 Now that's some turning ability.

				FM2

I say this because it is more durable and has a better gun package.

I don't know actual rates or radias, but their close enough that good pilots can out turn the other two in any of em.

 A6m-2 Zero

 At what speed? :)
-
				depents on the speed

even my lightning outturned a zero this tour

the zero was just flying to fast

If any one of these planes, in the right hands, gets behind the other's six/nine line - there is basically no amount of turning that will leave the other behind.

I really cant tell the difference between a Spit 1 or a Spit 9 when in flight ... all I see is the Spit icon and go for it. My stats show that I haven't killed many Spit 1s but have a fair amount of Spit 9 kills and have not been killed by a Spit 1.

I fly the FM2 alot and have saddled up on both of the other planes in question ... once there, they are dead meat. On one occasion, I just flew behind a Zeke, without shooting, for what seemed a long time, to see if he could shake me ... no dice.

I have also had the reverse situation, and no matter how many turns executed or how hard I turned (with flaps up/down) the other plane will eventually get a guns solution and waste me.

 BUT ... I would have to say that the Zeke is #1 - FM2 #2 - Spit #3
-
well my vast amount of experience comes from one singular fight in my Spit 1 versus a zeke.

so really someone who flies turnplanes like you will prolly know better than I do.

you should reply to these things soon so I don't have to wallow in my own ignorance as long :p

At which speed and at which altitude?

-
The Zero in stall fights is the better plane because of its gentle stall characteristics in AH.  At higher speeds, the other two will get inside the Zero's turn with ease.

Always was (is? IMHO) the Zeke,, until one bored night in the TA.  I had a "best of 5" against KNIFE.  Me in a Zeke,, he in a Hurricane ~

I light loaded the fuel,, and did all the "tricks"

5 ~ 0.  He beat me like a step-child!  Out-turned me, out banked me, out dived me, out freakn' GUNNED ME (big cannoned Hurri),,  I still can't believe it.

Low n' slow, on the deck,, the Hurricane out did a zeke.  Unbelievable but true ..

 My 2 cents..

Nothing in this game can out-turn the A6M2. Nothing. That doesn't mean that you can't out-fly its pilot.
