How many times have you landed a 3 kill sortie with tracers off at a soon to be vulched field, up in a field gun, and forget your tracers are off? Then you proceed to end flight, turn them back on and find that your position is taken or destroyed.
This problem could be solved by allowing each plane/vehicle a separate on/off tracer setting. This could be joined with the calls for different tracer colors. Am I the only one that thinks this would be useful/better for gameplay? Comments welcome :).

Hi Rightfoot, I have the same problem too. I use tracers in aircraft but prefer them in ground guns.
I heard that there is a bug that means that even if you turn off tracers in a GV or AA gun, the enemy still see you rounds. Do you know if this is true?

Don't know if it's a "bug" (some claim it's a feature), but:
Others will see GV tracers whether you have them on or not (pointless to be able to turn them off then).
Nobody will see AA gun tracers even if you turn them on (outright stupid).

Fester: "HT can you have a separate tracer settings file for each plane?"
Hitech: "no"
:D

I'd like to choose how many tracers per round.
I'd set mine to 1 tracer every 15 rounds =P

I'd like to choose different tracer settings for guns and cannons. Guns on to scare the enemy, cannons of to kill him.
