Is there a special site dedicated to the Combat Theatre? I haven't seen many in there when I  log on so I haven't stopped in but the historical Arena was always my favorite place on Warbirds way back when.. I have a lot of questions on how it is run, use of icons, radar ranges, etc. etc. that most likely is in some FAQ somewhere..

Thanks for any help!

Icer, no specific sites, other than this forum.  The best time to check out the CT is between the hours of 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM EST.  Please do come check it out.  The CT is run by a staff of volunteers, who come up with a new set up each Friday.  Community input always plays a large part on the make up of these arena set ups.

General Breakdown of the CT.

As Sabre said a new setup is introduced each week that's usually semi-historical in nature.  The planeset in AH is far from complete and the CM (the people who run things) do the best they can with the tools and resources available.  


Radar settings vary from week to week but in general I would venture to say that Radar is toned down compared to the MA.  

Icons are set so that friendlies appear at 6k (same as MA) but hostiles don't show up till 3k.

Those are the two biggies, if you show up during the times Sabre suggested you'll find many of the regulars on, and if you ask around people are generally eager to help out a CT newbie.   If you see me online I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have.  :)
