You ever been coon (racoon in yankee language) hunting joe? thats about the most boring type of hunting there is. Went with my cousin a few times...

Ya get your $500 dog, run it through the woods starting at about midnight. Stand around the trucks drinking beer, telling half lies, arguing whos dog is the best, listening to the howls in the distance, arguing whos dog is in the lead, etc. etc. Then the fun part, tromping through the woods in the dark at 2am looking for the dogs, and the tree he has run a coon into.

 What really made me mad was the fellas didn't even wanna blast the lil critter. I told him he better blast that lil muther, or I wouldn't be coming back (I usually bought the beer). He then put the bead on the lil bastige and sent him to the big tree in the sky.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Hblair.  

Coon hunting is horridly boring, so I suggest you try "Rodeo Coon".

Let your dogs do their thing while you get drunk.

Then let your drunk friend drive the truck (while you stand in the bed) through the forest, and try to his the coon as your friend circles the tree.

Watch out for them tree branches!
