Main gettin jammed, is it possible to have a server to hold at least 700? Seems we are getting alot of new people.

Wonder how many packets an Alteon can handle.  I've got an AD3 sitting on the shelf, I should find out.

THEN HT can make a distributed main arena using multiple machines and we can have an arena that holds enough people to make the Pizza (aside from the bleeding eyes) the place to be  :D

I still don't think the AKs were adequatly thinked for their efforts.  When VMF323 duels them we'll make a point of it  :p :cool: :D

BTW, a friend(fisherman) got that flesh eating bacteria.Scary chit.They caught it in time.

So I will save any fishing for BB;)

You do know that the bacteria in fleshing eaters is very common. Most of us have carried it on our skin at one moment or another. Its only when faced with an open wound that it becomes very active.  Press hype did the rest.

You are right, but there have been alot of cases of it this year. Or maybe it is what you said is, just media hype.

I aksed HT about the sever settings when he was online the first night we had pizza and he said 550 was the low setting. The 'old' server had a maximun of 1000 not that i'd want to play with that many on that server but I'd be willing to try on the 'new' one.

Skuzzy said yesterday that the "new" host is four times faster than the old one.  Has anyone heard if this new host has been moved to Savvis' facilities?

The current MA is about 4 times faster than the old MA server at TPL.  This server is at the Savvis facility.

The new server we are working on will be the second server located at the Savvis facility and will play host to the SEA/CT and other high demand arenas.

We either need a bigger boat, maybe ... or a viable additional boat. Methinks the Mission Arena (or whatever it's called - next version?) is gonna ease the load on the MA.
