Title: CT Problem Oct 7th 3120 Eastern: War won?
Post by: Miska on October 07, 2002, 08:34:10 PM
The host said the war was won by the knights, then terrain will change in 4mins, then I got booted.  Is this a bad thing?  Going to try it now.

LMFAO... The axis actually won? I guess the whole program wasn't up for that! I'll, be damned. Figures... seems like the allieds are meant to win... axis wins and the whole works goes to hell in a bucket.

Or maybe it ain't a program flaw... maybe the allies are SUPPOSED to win, at ANY cost... and when the axis actually kicks ass, it farks up the program? Just a thought, and a DRUNK IDIOT thought at that... heheh... AH, nowhere near perfection, but closer than anything else. BTW... AH graphics are getting a bit outdated... (way friggin outdated)... so where do we see the new graphics? Uhhh... sorry guys try harder.

You have to be kidding blue.  I have been spending some quality time as ijn on this map, and i have to say, those planes are pretty darn nice.  Give me an zero or ki any day.  Just paint it blue and put those pretty stars on it.

You ijn folks just got to learn not to sink our carriers, so you dont have to fight f4u1s all night.

On the other side of this.  You guys need to address the problem of map snafu.  I HATE flying in the ma.  It is just plain offensive after spending all of my time in the ct (which to your credit kicks some major ass), and if I am forced to fly there, I will eventually find a different game to play.  It is totally unacceptable as a ww2 combat sim in every way imaginable.  Please get HTC or whomever is responsible for these 'locks' to fix it.  I asked skuzzy about it last night in the MA but he did not respond.  ALthough he did respond to bunch of stupid drivil, so I am imagining he believes it is not his problem.

FIGURES... well, we finally actually have a setup that gives the jap/axis a good chance, and you minimize it by saying we have such good birds, I expected so much. Actually,  we have the advantage with this setup... i'll admit that... but you guys ALWAYS have the numbers, and the better birds, but you know what? It's about damn time the axis had something to fight back with! You Hellcats have got to the poINT THAT YOU REALLY THINK YOU ARE THE BOSS... sorry man, when i was there that is NOT what we were about... have you forgotten what that squad was originally about? My god man, you were my wingie for awhile... Have you totally forgotten how we fight? I remember talking to you... at least I tried to, i was on the same side then, but you totally blew me off, like i was nothing...man, just because i'm on a new squad doeasn't mean you have to hate me... what the hell is up with that? Ehh... screw it, all i care about now is putting hellcats in the dirt. You whoopee hypocritical has beens...

I hope you were kidding blue.

If not I dont see what could have possibly upset you so much.  I have actually been flying the a6m2 in the Ma tonight, and I have to admit, that is a mighty nice plane....

Now I was not flying the f4f, and that may be just as nice, but the acceleration on that a6m2 kept it nice and competitive.  Sure I pinged a niki for over 10mins and eventually just crashed into the guy while he lesiurely landed on the runway so as to find out who he was, but still, I was alive up till the suicide.  I only mentioned the quality of the axis birds to show my appreciation for them.  I am not trying to lessen your ability as pilots.

I think this map is quite even.  All of the ijn planes will keep you alive.  Thats what counts.  For the allied we have the uber f4u the industructible f4f that moves like a snail, and the p40, which I  have still not figured out what to do with.

Again, I hope your last message was not meant at face value, as I cant see what started it.

Damn Blue what crawed up your butt?  You better switch your brand of beer, it obviously disagrees with you. and besides you dont know what we are about, your not here so just cut that crap, we dont degrade or insult any squads in the ct, first off i wont allow it and second we dont think that way. Sorry you feel that way but what the hell, really doesnt matter does it? Cant believe the complete flopover by some who went axis, I thought you guys switched to make the ct better and more fun and challenging, and have done just that.  My gosh the Sentai are the powehouse of the axis side and we dont degrade them as a squad. Little dissapointed in you Blue sorry you feel that way. I dnot recall anyone saying anything about the axis winning, just wanted to know why the ct porked thats all, give it a rest for christs sake gees!

Blue you okay in there??

Give ole Blue a break, poor bastage has been on reserve for about 6 weeks now. Blue get your butt outta that dang H2H arena, and back in CT we need you.
Actually this is a very well balanced setup. However to do it took some liberties on part of the Axis side. The A6M5 is really dubbing for the A6M3, the Ki-61 version we have is also a little healthier than the version that flew in 1943.
Tactics, and team work count more in this setup, than any other PTO one we've seen lately. The F4U above is always going to be a man eater, I still have not figured out how to fly the A6M2, or the Ki-61, but I do love that little green A6M5.
The reset Monday night was pretty much an after thought the Allies were down to one base, and it was bing vulched heavily by A6ms from a CV. The P-4o drivers got tired of being vulched and moved to a CV. Once they did that somebody snuck in a C47.
Everyone on both sides expected the arena to reset, it locked up instead. Nobodys fault, no evil on the Allied or Axis side, just one of those things.
Don't know what happened Tuesday, just one of those things. On a positive note this was the first Wednesday in a while I got plenty of sleep the night before. Of course Frau Lowe wasnt thrilled I was around to ask her dumb questions about her choice of TV viewing. Do you guys have any idea of the crap these women are watching while we fly?:D

Yeah, i watched the twins last night, and that about killed my significant other.  She moved to the computer and worked instead.

She really wanted to watch that 'quality' Style channel programming.  She moans when I watch the history channel!  Terrible!

I tell her it could be worse (we dont get wings or tlc).

How about canning the dueling whines, digs and counterwhines every time a PAC setup rolls around?
Or maybe take them to the aircraft forum?  This gets really old.

HiJack, are you telling me you woudn't pretend to be able to match two colors in order to spend a weekend in close proximity to Amy Wynn (http://www.happy-everything.com/amy_wynn_pastor/amy.jpg) or Paige (http://www.trading-spaces.net/imgs/paigeparty.jpg)?

The biggest problem with these shows is that is leads my wife to begin a lot of sentances with, "We need to..."

Well, we didnt actually burn it 'down'.  It was a perscribed burn for some long term research sites at the University of Minnesota.  That was back in 99 though.  Was very exciting though, forest fires are some amazing things to fight.  We had to make sure that the fire didnt jump the fire roads, which was quite a difficult job.

Yahoo stopped sending me emails cause my hotmail account was full and they kept bouncing em back.  lame, I think its fixed now.

more flames for ya....

ah  nice pics erg. Brings back memories of a few prescribed burns the Parks & Wildlife boys did a few years back around here. They didnt want the fire dept out there because they knew what they were doing. 45 min into it, it looked like armageddon. Several hours later and a thousand acres or so we had it under control:D

i love the smell of a brush fire in the afternoon :)

And don't gas up your vehicle at a gas station near a freeway interchange.

I'm not kidding.  Stay alert and be safe.

What a nut case that guy is.   Also, is it sexism to assume the sniper is a man?

What Oboe said Erg! I am praying every day they get that S.O.B. captured before he hurts anyone else, so far every day he strikes and escapes. Stay safe Erg!

Yeah thanks guys, I dont loiter outside that is for sure.  I live in some pretty dense housing areas, with few exits (I wanna see that sob get out of georgetown any time of day).  I make sure I fill up at the station next door, no good sniper spots near it and a fire department across the street.

I am pretty damn sure you can assume this is a white guy I am betting on a teenager, but you never know.  I am kind of leaning toward somebody that lives out in the country nearby.    Maybe in the blue ridge.  It seems to me he would get caught if he ever drove 'normal' routes, so he must be hitting from the outside now.  Driving into the city a little distance shooting, then driving back out on country roads.  Nobody around here knows the back roads that lives in the city or suburbs.  We all stick to the freeways like brainless sheep.
