That's the only cartoon I actually watch these days.....hmm....I must be more liberal then I thought. I'd like to change my vote to Al Gore ifluff'n it ain't too late.

"Gay fans of SpongeBob say they're hooked on SpongeBob's sunny optimism, weird psychedelic world and peculiar humor. "There is this innocence," says Alex Fung, a 37-year-old clothing designer living in New York. "He's not very masculine for a male character. And he's soft.""
Geesh. He's soft.
"Your family wouldn't let you play with a Barbie doll, and now that you have the means, you go out and buy it for yourself," he says"
I don't think homosexuals like that are men. At all.
That was homophobia 101.

LOL Raub!
SPONGE BOB RULZ! And yes, Squidward IS gay. (Watch the cartoon, analyse his behavior. Interesting enough, its a negative way to portray a gay person, hurts their "cause" more than helps it)
-
I bet this cartoon has suddenly become "uncool" with the kids. Thousands are going home from school tonight to ask their parents, "Is SpongeBob gay?". :D
-
I think the Wall Street Journal is out to lunch on this one, like Jerry Falwell on "Tinky-Winky".
SpongeBob is funny.
-
awwwww, Kieran beat me to it.
Was gonna say... you never see Sponge Bob and Tinky Winky at the same party..... hmmmmmmm.
-
The problem isn't that Bob is gay (although I'm not surprised), the problem is that it's stupid.
Why in God's name don't we have a 24-hour, all-day Looney Toones channel?
