Title: hope list for V1.11

I wish these stuffs are added to increase a game play of Aces High.

Additions:
a buffeting when plane is gonna stall.
a smooth needle movement of some instruments (especially engine RPM/MAN).
a separation of plane and crew (when bailing out).
bomb bay doors open/close sound.
an electric flexable turret sound.
a burning sound when plane is on fire.
a separation of flak and shell impact sounds from explode2.wav (and plz add two or three different flak burst sounds to get realistic sound. example: flak-1.wav flak-2.wav flak-3.wav).

what do you think... thanks. :)

IMHO


- the Sky whit a more realistic color (a few less blue)
- improvement of sun (il-2 style)
- More  realistic clouds and more clouds in sky
- All planes available (no perks) when a state have only 3 fields (yes... I'm a Rook! :cool: :p )

I'm really hoping that the new lighting effects are hinting at an improved night time.  Maybe even night fighters!

second list:
realistic sun glare (gnapp already said).
more blue sky (gnappo already said).
contrails at high alt flying.
vapor trails at high G turning.
different hit stripes with AP/HE (?).
enough cover trees for GVs (ok I have read an interview with HT!).

a needle movement of MAN still looks like digital."

I think this is because the RPM and MAN guages are tied to internal airplane components rather than being responsive of the airplane's flight attitude.  The Flap guage is another which doesn't have the "guage lag".  Same with fuel guage and ASI.   The fuel guage probably should "jiggle" a little though then we pull G's from all that gas sloshing around in the gas tanks.

Improved rearming+quick repairs:

* When landing on a rearm pad, give us the option to change initial load-out. Add/remove gunpods, add/remove bombs, change bomb loadout, change 20mm to 30mm etc etc..  

* When a fighter manuevers into a FH, let us repair minor physical damages(ailerons, elevators, radiator, engine oil: I know that technically, these aren't "light damages".. but for the sake of the game, they aren't real structure failures) by spending some perks. Same for bombers into BH, and GVs into VH.

* Also, let the "hit points" status be reset automatically for free if a fighter maneuvers into a FH. Same for bombers into BH, and GVs into VH.

 In short, give hangars a real role, and give some alternate options to spend perks on.

good lsit for immersiveness. One thing I have thoughtn that would be good.... Damage sounds for HE rounds htting your AC. You would think you would here the explosions in your airframe.

Wish list:

- Con warning when bomber pilot is calibrating bomb site.
- More realistic bomber damage model
- Something to do other than furballing and vulching.
- a change in wind speed, alt and direction (30 @ 14k is getting boring.)
- a fix for the ardo234 rato in formation problem
- a reaon for flying bombers other than being a target

- GV have different color for each countries:
 so, in GV battles, when target is far I can open fire only on enemy

or change icon's system when driving a GV

id like:

-hi alt contrails
-slightly better graphics for damage
-hit sounds that vary between 3 sounds(ie if 30 cal you can have 1 of 3 30 cal hit sounds play)
-MUCH larger explosions of bombs :)
-smashed glass and instruments if hit
-intruments that when hit stop working
-dust on the floor kicked up by wheels or ditch or vehicle tracks
-possible .camoflage command for GV's that hides them under netting?

(if dust was added i think all vehicles should be allowed not to show up as a DOT.Instead with the dust it should make them highly visible but if they stop the dust stops and they again become hard to find)

-propellor damage if you go HO and other explodes (peices hit your prop). this way if you continue to HO after 2 or 3 your prop becomes unstable and you have to ditch :)

-night light in cockpit (red prefferably or green please) to make cockpit less 'glowy' at night
-flames inside plane that can kill pilot if he stays in it
-more positions on the map for hull down in panzers(ie sandbag positions or ditches etc near bases).

-new large map but less bases! cant we have the same number of bases but with more spots for vehicle battles or large sea zones for carrier to carrier battles.

-better flak or ack on CV to combat vertical attacks.(ie level attacks stays same but dive vertical on CV and it pops you much better)I dont like this but might be the only way to stop this dumb kamakazi stuff killing the fleet fun.

hehe ok thats about all i could think of in terms of cosmetic type stuff.

I agree wholeheartedly with your list mitsu (wtg)

How about when a bullet hits your airframe it could leave nice holes in the surface of the aircraft or burnt out parts when it's an HE round,not only the damage being represented when something comes off.
