Title: Pearl Harbor Map

:confused:
ive been looking for a pearl harbor map with it realisticly made, like 6 carrieres for knights and the island and 3 airbasses for the bishops, and only being able to use D3A, zero, Nik and that other green jap high level bomber, and the bishops could only use p-40s and b-17s, if anyone knows if thye could make it  cause my terrain editor is so screwed up i dont know what to do after i finish making the map, i dont know how to use in in the game :( well anyway if anyone has any ifo that ouwld be great thanks though :confused: :confused: :eek: :D :) :(

The N1K1 and that Japanese bomber were not in service at the time of Pearl Harbour.

Hey, I think it'd be great if someone could make a Pearl Harbor map, including the Army airfields.  I've tried figuring out the Terrain Editor but just haven't had the time to go through it all yet.  Is anyone working on one?

Aloha. I made one using mapmaker, the terrain editor etc. I was able to figure out how to get the USGS mesh applied, and the result was fair. The shape of Oahu was correct, and the mountain ranges looked ok. Pearl Harbor needed a lot of attention. So, after realizing how much time was going to be involved in tweaking/perfecting the scenery I abandoned the project in favor of spending more time.....flying :)

That is exactly the problem. Creating a good terrain is a HUGE undertaking.

While I'd love to see a nice Pearl map I'm sure it will happen someday.
