for the HA when it gets here one day it would be excellent to have the sides balanced automatically or at least have a cm option to do so.
this will be extremely helpfull in scenarios etc where side balance is very important.
give CM's the commands to set the ratios for each side by a percentage or somthing like that say 40% one side 60% the other etc so that players as they enter the arena go to the side that requires more people.
it may not be popular but it makes gameplay so much better and cuts down on the gangbang mentality.
but the big idea is automation. less thinking and yapping on the chat bar and less chaos in scenarios if everything falls in to place automatically.
the mission planner has been a big help in this regard but there is still chaos in getting sides balanced and players into the right planes.
if it could all happen automatically but give the player the option to fly the country/plane they want if its available that would cut down on a lot of chaos.

Neat idea. I think something like this would need to be able to recognize squad affiliations and move the squaddies to the same country... or thars gonna be hell ta pay (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

This is an idea that's been around for awhile. The problem arises with squads and potential that they will get split.
Now if you make the automated tool some smarts to keep squads together at the expense of some imbalance then you may have something. You need to solve the squad issues.
