CH F16 Fighterstick, Pro Throttle, and standard rudder pedals. All in good condition, all hats and buttons operational. Software included. These are the non-USB style (gameport required) and will NOT work with Windows XP, but Win 98 is fine. If interested please Email me at Toadsucker@attbi.com

I've got the same stuff. They work in Me, but Me sucks.
I'm thinking of upgrading my entire system, and was thinking of going to XP, but now I'm scared.
Are you running Home or Pro?

I'm running XP Home. XP doesn't allow you to program devices through the keyboard port, so you can't program the older CH devices. I went out and bought all new CH Pro USB stuff (F16, Throttle, and Pedals - $$$ )
The new stuff works as well as the old, but the software the USB throttle/stick/pedals use is not as user-friendly as the older SpeedKeys program, IMHO.

How much you want for just the pedals?

Something else to consider as well. I also used to have all gameport stuff until I could not get it to work on my newer systems.
I spoke with CH directly on several occasions. The older gameport sticks, throttles, etc were never designed to work on systems that have FSB speeds exceeding 66mhz!! They will, however work on most systems running a 100MHZ FSB (I used to run mine on an overclocked Celeron running on a 117mhz bus, so I know it will). Once you hit the 133mhz and higher busses, forget it, it will lock up the system. I know the FSB should not have anything to do with it, but evidently the keyboard port on faster bus systems is different also and is not compatible with the CH gameport gear.
There is a modification that can be done that may or may not cause it to work on 133mhz bus systems...it involves the removel of a small capacitor in the throttle. CH sent me the literature and I made the mod, but it did not work. The throttle still works fine on my old celeron box though.
Sooo, the bottom line is simple. If you want CH gear and your computer is of newer lineage, get USB stuff.

You know... there are USB to gameport adapters.

I'm not looking to make my money back at all. In fact, I was offering the whole deal for less than 1/2 the price of the stick alone. If you consider that ripping a fellow flyer off, then don't offer to buy the stuff, okay?
Geez.

I use all CH analog stuff, I have been since 1995, and you can program it for AH but only using the work around (meaning, dont trash your old computer!)
I have the exact same setup, and it's worth it, trust me...
I WOULD like to get the USB stuff though, so can you tell me what the main problems are with it (USB)
