My mother in law has come to live :(
So expect to see more of me in the MA as I lock myself away in the computer room :D
Email me for an address to
send beer, pizza, and other offerings of condolences.

lol what a coincidence. My mother-in-law is coming to live with me for a few weeks as well! :D
Hopefully it will not have a negative effect on my stick time, although I suspect it will

I just moved in with my in-laws.
The funny thing is I love them both and get along with them better than anyone could imagine.
Bill was a gunnery instructor in WWII. He flew AT-6s, AT-11s, P-39s, RP-63s, and has time in B-25s and B-17s. He's a woodworker/craftsman and all around nice guy.
Harriette is a card and has a wit that keeps us all on our toes. Also as kind as could be imagined.
I'm sure that I'll be glad for my family to move into our own home when the time comes, but for now, alls well.

Turn a tragedy into a blessing.
Imagine your MIL in the cockpit of every plane you pursue.
Tape her voice, then create a wave file in your chute directory. Then mercilessly gun down every chute you see. Be sure to turn off your engine for the full effect. :D :D

Life as you know it has changed. If you can obtain a divorce from your mother-in-law, I would do it. :)
I do have the mother-in-law from hell. May the force be with you. Bummer man

Get her an AH account.
Just think of the potential..

In-law advice: Seperate buildings. If the only seperate space you have is the garage... set up a bed there. Either for her or for you.

Whenever my mother-in-law stays with me it is like a holiday!! She won't LET me do anything....if I put down a glass and don't specifically tell her I am not done it is washed and in the cupboard before I know it. She looks after the kids, does the laundry etc etc...
My wife is Vietnamese....I strongly suggest one for you unmarried guys!
-
Sorry man...
-
Vulcan may I suggest this. During the 50s', a very popular rock song titled "Mother-in Law was sung by a gentlemen named Ernie K. Doe. I'm not kidding, this is true. See if you can find the song, and listen to it. It's a Hoot LOLOL. As a matter of fact, I dare ya ta dload it and play it while she's there. :D

I know the feeling Vulcan. My mother-in-law moved in with us last January 9th and stayed until I moved her stuff to her house in Florida in April. Then she rode back with us and now lives about 5 minutes down the road.
Trust me you can get them to leave if you do some stuff like actually help them. At least that is what worked for me. :D
-
Ive got an asian mother in law and she's really cool. I was kinda worried before we got married, but once we did, she turned out to be a kind and generous gal. Of course, she doesn't live with me ;)
-
you can get them to leave if you do some stuff like....
Getting caught fondling her undergarments in the laundry room!
-
I read about people like you in the newspaper Westy...

One must be willing to endure the unthinkable for the desired result! So the end definately justify the means :)
