I think rip and eagler are the only 2 to catch it so far. Doesn't surprise me  I doubt ther's much about American tradition that he knows about. Hell even Hillary knows which freakin hand to use....
I do have to say that this picture makes me want to vomit, so many hipocrites in one picture....

Who's the guy with his hand the wrong way anyway?

Tom D-amazinhunk, a man elected by dead people.
Every vote counts - unless ballots are being cast by people who don't exist, are dead or who don't even live in South Dakota. A major case involving those voter fraud issues has been under investigation by the FBI for the past month. KSFY has learned the investigation mainly focuses on six counties including: Dewey, Pennington, Fall River, Charles Mix, Shannon and Ziebach, although there may be other counties involved.

90% of our nation's problem...... Get him out of there or at least out of the leadership role as head of the senate and we'll be A-OK.
Hopefully in his next election this photo will be used against him....
-
Udie, not sure if the photo is doctored or not. It was emailed to me. Its message is true enough though.
-
Obviously the elections are coming and d-amazinhunk is trying to gain some left handed votes....

Isn't Cheney the leader of the Senate?
-
Cheney is Vice President. D'amazinhunk is Majority leader of the Senate.
-
I had to put together an anual report for Goldman Sachs, and included in it was a message from the CEO or Chairman or whatever, along with his picture. Anyway, we did the photoshoot, got the neg scanned and I dropped the image in.
It was reversed...
He freaked... as he noticed that his wedding ring appeared to be on his *right* hand.
Is Daschle married? See any ring on his left hand?

Go read your Constitition. :D
-
bla bla bla Cheney is President of the Senate (tie-breaker). Damazinhunk is the majority leader and sets the agenda, or lack there of.
-
Nash, like I said, not sure if its doctored or not...I am married and choose not to wear my ring (weight lifting, yard work, gets in the way)
-
He looks like Vince McMahon.
-
Daschle, not Rip.
-
My guess is that it is doctored. Look at the way his jacket is buttoned. Do you know ANYONE that buttons their suit jacket that way?

Biggot. They're on the correct side if you are a woman.
-
I'm not a bigot... I'm a sexist...
There's a difference, amazinhunk... :D
-
more like this ...
-
Eagler,
What's wrong with that? I do that all the time. ;)

Daschle, having served in the military, may have some confusion over the proper civilian flag salute. Lott, having served his political career since 1972 after graduating from the University of Mississippi where he served as a male cheerleader, can be expected to know the proper civilian salute :).
BTW, they're all pretty much tools, IMO, and they all thank their lucky stars that so many supporters on each side buy into the whole wrestling "Grudge Match" approach that sucks the real issues out of any political debate. Known demographics on the support base, good marketing to push the right buttons and we have Trent "The Rock" Lott vs. Tom "The Undertaker" Daschle, with Bush in there as Vince McMahon. A pretty weak group of characters overall, but "Angry White Man Gringrich" and "Root of all Evil Clinton," are a tough act to follow.
I interview a lot of small business Republicans, the guys always cited in any tax cut or such as the real winners, and guess what? Many are starting to realize that they are losing out to big business campaign dollars. The steel tariff, for example, is slamming many smaller manufacturers who now see their production costs as non-competitive. White collar, middle-class suburban workers benefit from trickle down, sorry, you are an expense item to be eliminated if at all possible.
What about the inner city poor? Warren Beatty in Bullwort was right. Don't look to the Democrats for any real solution, they are just interested in keeping the support with as little effort as possible. Individual rights? The Clinton administration wasn't shy about eroding our individual rights in order to appear tough on crime. Ashcroft may be worse, or maybe he's just doing it more openly and in a shorter period of time.
As long as they can make you "hate" the other side, there is no incentive to take a dispassioned look at either side, and little chance for a leadership other than the self-interested bunch of shysters we have now.
Charon
[Hilarious Thrawn, I added my Vince McMahon refrence while you were posting yours. I agree on the looks part :)]

Photo is doctored.
1)Notice the shading of his suit is different from those around him.
2)His suit is buttoned the opposite way.
3)Look a little above his right collar to see a line where his head/neck was attached to the picture.

Let's see how many gullible conservatives we can get to post this pic on BBSs. ;)
-
As I said earlier, doctored or not, its the message that is NOT doctored. ;)
-
That's just plain ludicrous Rip. What kind of logic is that?
If the photo is faked, then the "point" the photo is trying to make is nowhere to be seen. And your respone... It's like trying to prove something that doesn't exist, finding out it doesn't exist, and saying "Well, still..."
Still *nothing*. Ergo dumb thread based on nothing.

Bob Dole would have covered his 'heart' the same way. Daschel was in the USAF for 4 years. probably all are thinking the same thing: "i'd rather put my hand on an intern's chest"

I'd rather not think about it. :D
