Title: How Do You Feel?
Post by: Rude on October 16, 2002, 09:14:07 AM: You logon to AH for some fun and relaxation....you take off and fly to the nearest fight...you survey the situation, making a fast visual sweep of the area, then you commit and are IN.

BOOM! You're in the tower without ever engaging anyone or firing one shot!

I have killed many enemy who I've watched enter the fight, diving to engage and have wondered how bad that must have sucked to fly all that way just to die without even firing a shot.

One question really...does it really bother you alot?

in fact I consider my death as a act of charity ,my lameness protected other more skilled pilot to be killed instead of me :D

Umm we all started out this way… some of you just have rusty memories. None of us were killing machines on day one in our 1st ever flight simm package.:D

Happens a lot when i fly tired though... just need to learn to "logg off" at those times :)

Then i go and have a kiling SPree in Max Payne or Counter Strike and after i got killed there for about 1000 times in a row i come back to AH

that's how i am .. call me stupid but i hate to die (e,g, loose) in AH

One of the guys called out "That's Voss in Osty, he got me in one shot"...I rolled sideways to find the Osty, nosed town and then I was in the tower with my Squaddie too.

Killing Voss became a quest...didn't happen...but made for a fun theme to the evening. Gotta get that sunuvasqueak back :)

I usually, hit a tree, rip my wings off, collide with someone, fly into a mountain afk, or find some other non-combat way to kill myself. If I could stay alive long enough to get shot down every flight, I'd be having a loads of fun!

Or... I need to not chat in the text buffer so much.

Or... I need to turn off the TV and not try to watch it on climbout

Or... I need to use the bathroom while still in the tower and not on climbout.

Or... My cat needs to not get into the cabinets while I'm playing.

(all reasons in the past that have caused me to get whacked without knowing it before firing a shot or even engaging.)

Post by: Karnak on October 16, 2002, 08:45:49 PM: Sometimes I'm a little annoyed with myself for letting my SA down, but I'm never irritated by the other pilot unless he goes on Channel 1 and makes an bellybutton of himself.

Its just part of the game, and one that can be avoided by keeping up your SA.

and then it repeats again next thing they see it NOD2000 landed 15 kills in a 109e-4 LOL u got to love taht cuz all they fly in H2H is temps and Spit14's and La7's

its really funny when about 4 or 5 temps gang up to get teh 109 and they end up killing each other with hispano's and i'm the only one left flying.........
