Title: Great Britain Milk Crisis!
Post by: Thrawn on October 16, 2002, 03:43:22 PM
"MILK GETS MAKEOVER TO TAKE ON FIZZY POP

11:00 - 16 October 2002

Milk could be getting its bottle back - with a new name, a new image and a new sense of worth.

Attempts are being made to rebrand the product as a "designer" drink called M, to be sold in smaller screw-top bottles rather than pint-size plastic cartons.

But this rebirth is likely to come at a price.

Instead of the 29p cost of a normal supermarket pint, M would be sold for between 65p and 85p. "

Good luck and God Bless.

Pointless. All they gotta do is borrow the american dairy councils "Got Milk??" ad campaign.. some of the funniest ads I've ever seen.

Heard this on the radio while I was back home this week.......the guy being interviewed was apparently a marketing expert but by Cod he was dull.  Every word was followed by an "Um".

Besides, nothing could ever top the 1960's milk adverts:

Drinka
pinta
milka
day.
