Title: NFL doesn't hire enough minorities
Post by: Eagler on October 17, 2002, 02:19:47 PM
LOL

we'll at least not in coaching postions according to this:

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=531&e=2&cid=531&u=/ap/20021017/ap_on_sp_fo_ne/fbn_nfl_black_coaches

another EOE joke

I wonder if they can turn this around and get more whites in player positions - as they are the minorities there  - oh that's different....

NBA doesn't hire enough white basketball players either.  Funny how that's not in the news.

It's ALL driven by talent regardless if you are a coach or a player.

Tired of quota hounds who scream racism everytime the numbers aren't in their favor. They need to stop using color as an excuse for their short comings.

You're right.  Anyone can be a coach, particularly at the pro level.

In fact, here's my game strategy for this weekend's game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Pass, Run, Run, Run if we need less than 2 yards/Punt if we need 2 yards or more.

Think that's good enough for the Glazers?

Oh, and there aren't enough Scottish coaches in the American pro leagues, either.  Hoot, man!
