Another Tardpoll!
A = YES
B = NO
C = Will this affect my N1k ?
SHOULD ENGINES OVERHEAT IF RUN AT HIGH MANIFOLD FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME?
Overheated engine would
Lose RPM or if Overheated for a long time, Blow up.

Uh, you could run these engines at military power till you ran out of gas and they wouldn't overheat unless there was something wrong with the cooling system. Sure you'll shorten overall engine life and use a lot of extra fuel and such, but overheat? Nope.
WEP would eventally overheat most engines, but not military power.

dumb poll, everyone knows only LW engines overheat, so yes all LW engines should overheat and only put out 57.8% power when run on wep too long

Only if they did in real life (most of them didn't).

Fw 190 had a famous overheating problem. :)
-
A0 and A1 yes Funked, A2 had some and A3 was more or less cured. A4 and later had no problems with it. So the famous overheating problems about the 190 can be dropped unless ya talking about any of the very early variants (non of which we have) :)

It never overheated while it was parked.
