Title: Strange button relationships in the Saitek X45 combo

So, I find myself going completely out of calibration while inflight with my X45 lately, I tracked it down to the D button on the throttle, which I have been using as a wep key for 2 years going back to the X36...when I touch it, BOOM, plane goes every which way..now I'm trying to de-program myself from using THAT button for wep, its tough, and of course I forget always at critical times in a dog fight :(

2nd hand stick, will Saitek still repair it without a receipt?

hmmmm ...you are using the new SST no ?

try to start a new profile ...

My profile was doing silly things like confusing wep button and auto-trim ... but only from time to time

I started a new profile from scratch and now it's cured ...

I use the pinkie shift for wep as I do not need 50+ programming combos since I can't remember more than a dozen :)

If you are using the SGE to program what you may find is that in the advanced window that shows the key-strokes, you may find that a DirectX command may be there!!  Put the cursor next to it and right click and click on clear.  It will go away:)

The best bet is to create a new profile and when they ask to disable the DirectX buttons, DO!!
