I was thinking about ghosths challenge
would it be possible for HTC to create a diversity perk award that gives a player say 200 perk points in each category if they get 5 kills in every nonperk vehicle/bomber/fighter available in aces High?
its a hard challenge but many would be up for trying it for a reward :)
and it would give more diversity to the MA if many tried every airplane for 5 kills.
perhaps even have a credit in the killbuffer...
"Duckwng6 has finished Ghosth's challenge" or somthign like that, then award the player 200 perks in each category when they land or crash or bail :)
ok thrown the ball someone run with it.

So... you want a perk bonus for yourself and AKLarry? Why didn't you just say so up front.
Most the rest could care less.

I would try it for 200 perks. Hey, I think I will try it anyway.

How about we make it 200 perks for the one who gets 100 kills in a 109G2 without dying?
I don't touch allied crap iron. Your challenge is far from biased enough (and not even in the right direction) for us LW über Experten.

no sir.
I have plenty of perk points already (trust me, I have like 10,000 kills playing this sim :) )
the perk point reward has to be REWARDING if you want people to soldier through using aircraft like the 202 and c47 to get 5 kills.
you would see some fearless goon drivers thats for sure :)
judging from the results of awarding perks for map resets this diversity perk reward will pay big dividends in the variety of planes players will encounter in the arena.
everybody wins.
p.s. 200 perk points can and will be lost in a few quick sorties in a 262. most players (now including me because i have a real job :D ) would take more than one tour to acomplish this challenge also.

Sounds good in principle.
Didn't Hitech's interview mention something about differeing ways to reward the player, something about medals?
Remember Flying circus's icon system, Deja? Your running total was shown, killers were always marked men.

Of course I remember Flying Circus's way. I also recall that they did away with it.
I can't recall a single game where people were more absorbed with kill streaks, cheat accusations and overall nastiness. Mostly because of that very system.
