Beautiful tank,yep...and nice shot.

Still I like more my Fw190 at dawn shot  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) I am a fighter pilot not a tank driver   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

It looks pretty good, yep.  I will say that IMO the level of detail on the texture models is not currently up to HTC standards, but since it is a work in progress I won't be too hasty in passing judgement.  (Lets hope they give the Allies a better tank than the M3 Grant.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) )  It looks to me like they are making progress, but compared to our new 1.03 screenshots, are not yet to the level of AH.

I am glad to hear that our friends who use Macs will be able to play.  (Hopefully HTC will eventually be able to offer a Mac version as well.)

(This should go in the off-topic forum BTW.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif) )

Of all things, this has the least impact on me.  Vast numbers lack a mac...including me.

I look forward to the battle reports from ww2ol but right now Im more than satisfied with HTC.

As for WB3, it will take one extremely hell of a lot to justify an hourly fee.  Did I mention the iEN launcher?......uh hu

I'm with you Yeager

I won't say never, but it will be a cold day in Hades indeed before iEN see's another dollar of my money.

Just wish that zero would ARRIVE already!

"Now these are tanks!"

I don't know, but the one on the left looks suspiciously like a truck.

Are those screenshots from the Mac version, or the PC version?

And when version 7.90 comes out in 2002, you'll be able to drive them, but those 1999 graphics will blow by then.

I just hope WWIIOL doesn't charge more than $30/month.

Inflation will be much higher in 2 years when it goes public.

Those are some of the very early screen shots from the Alpha, those are basically shapes they built to play with their physics model.

They now have much sweeter looking tanks, from the WWIIOnline site you can download a p38tkaboom.zip which is a movie of one of their tanks.

WWIIOnline is just now entering the closed beta, things will improve with time, I seem to recall a lot of complaints about the open beta graphics from Aces High.

Macboy and Rip seem to have a little contest of wills going.  I feel sorry for macboy.

I agree, diversity in sims will not hurt the customers!

Macboy(MG), let me be the first to say this belongs in the Off-topic forum, which is the Officers club.  Thank you!  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Very nice pic Macboy.  I can't wait for that game either, it will be a stretch to cost-justify both games.

Too bad your troll didn't work   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

You have to read both boards to know the whole story.

Fury
p.s.  it really does belong on the ot board per HTC statements after Vegas, but I'm sure HTC will let us know again if they need to.

It is a nice pic. But that wasn't the intent of his post.

Macboy, have you given any thought to getting therapy?

Here's the whole story:
Been seeing alot of  pics from the "community" on WW2 Online, of B17-2, Olegs' Sturmovic,Warbirds 3.0, etc.  Then, saw Vila's post of the AH sunset on AGW in the Off-topic board, lots of nice, civil replies to Vila and HTC about the screen shot.

I thought it would be nice to share the pic with the WW2 Online community, since they have no OT forum, and since everyone else has been posting their pics, and talking of "other" flight sims, I simply posted Vila's shot on their BBS.  Well, the ugliness of the flight sim community tried to raise its ugly head in the form of this post, but you folks obviously are reading through Macboys troll.

BTW, I posted in WW2 online that I,too, will have accounts  for both flight sims.

It's a good  time to be a flight sim fanatic!
