Title: my VOX won't work...
Post by: AtmkRstr on October 30, 2002, 08:30:51 PM
for more than a few minutes.

It used to work perfectly(several weeks ago), then it started to stop working periodicly (past couple of weeks), now it's goes out within 15 mins of logging on every time I log on.

This problem is repeatable. Simply log on, wait.
Alt-Tab somtimes brings it back working, ussually not.

Several others in my squad have the same problem.

I've heard turning down the accelleration will help.

What do you mean by accelleration?

The problem occures when the computer is on the desk, and the headset on my head... stationary :p

experiencing the same issue with a Hercules Game Theater XP and Win XP.

will try bumping down the hardware acceleration for sound and see what happens.

In fact I can't believe I didn't think of that.  I had the same issue with CFS2 and sounds cutting out on the ol' 98 box.   Hardware acceleration fixed that too.    :o

Thanks, I'll try acceleration. I'll also make sure my 4in1 drivers are up to date.
