Title: Does anyone know where the max speed charts are?

I could have sworn a tempest would outrun a pony.

However tonight a pony chased me down (from alt).  I spoofed his attack, broke off and ran.  He ran me down, so I did it again.  He ran me down, and I did it again.  Finally, after chasing me down 5 or 6 times, I missed a break and he got me.

This ranged from 10k down to the deck.

Strange...

Ive doved down on a tempest that was 3k under me, and there was no way i could catch him after we went deck.  I got to about 1.2k but then he started pullin away.

My gear was up, I had flaps up, and had wep on for about the first 3 merges.  I *WISH* I had gotten it on film because I'm really getting more and more pissed about it as time goes on.

I had no ord, but about half a bag of gas.  Since this P51 was less than 1/2 way to his destination (escorting a big buff attack on Knit HQ) I know he had to have close to that amount as well.

They're very close Ouch, below is using the P51D best speed vs Altitude:

P51D at 12,000 feet, WEP on:
420 mph
P51D at 25,000 feet, WEP on:
440 mph

Tempest at 12,000 feet, WEP on:
390 mph
P51D at 25,000 feet, WEP on:
440.

So, if you were below 15k but above 5k, then he had the advantage, however if you were at 5k, then your advantages were equal.

I am going to bet pony accelerates better - but I have no data.  If true any time you manuvered you were hurting yourself.

Incidently, you can check HTC's charts themselves, at the home website, click HELP, then GAME OVERVIEW, then PLANES, VEHICLES SHIPS.
