love BiGB
Im sure theres been a post of this..just havent seen it...

i wish we could get it........

If that's all it costs, you're going to see a LOT of them up in the sky. I figured they'd cost at least 100, and a Fat Boy would have to be somewhere in the 250-300 range. Calibration becomes a very minor issue when playing with atomic weapons, the last thing we need are 2-weekers who figured out how to drop troops for easy perks dropping nukes all over the map.

If you're going to have a nuke, then not only do you need to perk the plane, but you need to perk the ordnance as well -- and you burn the perk points for the bomb unless you bring the plane back and land it with the bomb still aboard. You drop a nuke and you're out the points for it.
Of course, the big problem with a nuke is that you need to use it on a friendly-free base -- the blast effect from the explosion should destroy any plane within a couple miles of the blast. Both enemy and friendly. And that would killshooter you to death instantly. The ultimate in suicide bombing...
-
yes the "bomb' would cost big perks...ANd you def lose the points once its dropped...
lolol didnt think about Blast radius.....
But ok..maybe more then 60,,,but some 2 weekr is going to take alot !!! of time to get 300 bomr perks....

Um, anyone really want to send troops, or fly low and slow over a base that's been nuked? Would YOU go to re-build a base that has radiation all over it? I wouldn't.
Get real, people...

Get actual. This is supposed to be the early 1940s; they knew that plutonium was toxic, but except for a couple people getting lethal doses during the design and construction of the bomb, they had no data on what the incremental effects of radiation dosages were or about fallout and long-term contamination from nuclear blasts. Remember that, after the war, our own government conducted exercises that had infantry moving into an area that had been nuked shortly before.

what we need are V-1's and V-2's

'xcuse me, but how do you recieve perk points? has been a long time since I played in the main arena
-
You receive perk points by killing other planes or destroying objects in the MA.
All planes have ENY values and all bombers and ground objects have OBJ values. When you down another plane, the perk points you receive is calculated by dividing the ENY of your plane with the ENY of the downed plane (thus better planes have lower ENY, and you get more points for downing better planes, or for flying crappier planes). If you're flying an attack sortie, you are awarded points for the damage you deal to ground targets based on your OBJ value and the target OBJ value. Landing a sortie multiplies all points you earned in that sortie by 1.25.
