I export to avi full uncompressed for use in Premiere, but it says file format unsupported both in premiere and windows media player. Any ideas what i'm doing wrong? i have some great footage to work with and want to create something cool

This happens because the AVI file is to big. When you create an uncompressed AVI in Film Viewer you are limited to approximately a minute of the film. If you go passed a minute the file reaches 2 and 3 Gigabytes and that is too large for any of the programs you mentioned to use.
At least that is what has happened to me.
By the way if you find a good compression tool while you are in Aces High Film Viewer, let me know. I do not like the quality that I get out of the other ones and some are good qualtiy but I normally have a very hard time trying to manipulate the avi in Premier so that I can edit it.

nope, i use ntfs with no file size limits for video, and also i've tried smaller files.
