Lets see if I got this right..

The pro-life folks, which are generally considered to be right wingers. Want to end abortion and allow all low income babies that are now being aborted. To be brought into the world, there by expanding the future Dems voting base.


While the pro-choice folks, which are generally consider to be left wingers. Want to continue letting the poor income woman to abort her baby if she chooses, there by decreasing the future Dems voting base.


As has been pointed out many times on this board. The folks on the right are believed to hate the poor. Want them to go hungry or better yet, just disappear. However, they seem dumb enough to want more of them around. Why is that?

While the folks on the left, that want to do all they can to help the poor. Don't seem to be upset that more poor woman are aborting their children compared to other income groups. Why is that?

with every abortion, your tubes are tied and you don't have to worry about it anymore

I'll buy that ...

once that is passed, "Sterilization with Compensation"  for those on the gov dole would nip many problems in the bud.

Gyro,

You have an excellent point..I guess it is the difference between reality and political theory that answers your question.

I'm not American, but if I were I would vote Republican.  That does not mean I am in agreement with the morality of the bible thumpers as it relates to abortion...or many other social issues, such as....say.....gun control.  My vote would have more to do with the economy and foreign affairs than morality.

I'd be one of those Liberal Republicans.  :cool:

I thought this was about the Chevy Chevette, largely considered to be an abortion on wheels.
