Title: Ddale Ernhardt :(

 Dake Earnhardt died today from head injuries recieved in a crash in turn 4 of the final lap of the Daytona 500 today. (

 I saw him race at Texas world speedway about 6 years ago. He was my racing hero  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)

Uncalled for, Frosty. He was a person, and he is dead. While no particular Earnhardt fan myself, I certainly wouldn't wish ill on him or anyone else.

While I hated Dale Earnhardt as a driver....simply because I have my own favorite, I always respected his skill on the track and the way he competed.  It was definitely a sad day for NASCAR and it will be a cloud over the rest of the season.

How ironic that he dies in a wreck while protecting the lead of the driver of his own racing team?
