"Africa is a nation with lot of problems"
Wonder if he'd find it on the map :)

Wales is not in England. It's next door, and part of Great Britain, which, combined with Northern Ireland, is part of the United Kingdom.
So it really was a case of 'Dumb and Dumber'. :)

Dunno if the anecdote quoted above is true or not, but if GWB is "dumb", then i reckon that makes Liberal-Leftist Democrats too stupid to live........
Oh, and for you Lefties living in West Palm Beach FL, Kalifornia, or on the Euro continent, "WI" is the abbreviation for the State of Wisconsin.......

Who's more stupid? The stupid man or the people who keep losing to him because they think he's stupid? :D
Please keep underestimate him, what ever you do ;)

this is the same GWB everyone thought was crazy for pushing Saddam, the same GWB that would never get the UN to side with US . The same GWB that received a unanimous vote from very UN member in the world...

Bush didn't get the security council to side with him. The security coucil, specifically France and Russia to side with them.
What Bush wanted from the security council and what he got were two different things.

so thrawn, the UN res was a bush defeat?
nope - same outcome - Saddam blinks on the inspectors and he says hello to our military. that's all we wanted all along.
is this the same GWB which just helped the republicans sweep the elections? this the same GWB which has record approval ratings across the country? is this the same GWB that by taking away the dems issues, has all but removed demi crats from today's politics?
He has done more for the country, weathered more storms in just two short years in office than willie did in his 8 long ones..
yep, pls keep under estimating him, the slow backwards southern boy from Texas.

should he be a dictator?
im sure you monkey experts would do a far superior job given the same opportunity. maybe next time. i hear the dems are still open to ideas for a 2004 canidate. why don't some of you give it a go!
must be strange to concern oneself and have such an educated opinion (one based on zero actual experience) of another country's leadership and policies.
Is it envy perhaps?

No wonder the democrats keep losing to Bush. They have built up such a mindset of his stupidity and incompetnance in their circles that they just go into denial every time he trumps them, so it's natural to call their every defeat a victory. Strange as it may seem to BBS readers, I'm not a republican or even a true conservative on the issues and certainly not all that partisan. But I must admit I got a kick out of watching Terry McAuliffe jumping through hoops in an attempt to spin the Tuesday elections as a victory for dems and, yes most certainly, yet another in a long series of dramatic defeats for the idiot Bush.
The Democratic party has been reduced to largely useless stalling position in US politics, they have no message, no soul, and really nothing to offer as an alternative to the republicans. Worse yet, they will now be pressured to turn left as their fringe leftist idealogues have allready started blaming the defeats on a supposed Clinton style centrist trend. This might well be true but I am left wondering if it was matter of this centrist postion or the dems utter lack of a popular, charismatic spokesman and leader, yes leader, like Clinton. Al Gore, Hillary, Daschle, Pelosi, Sharpton, Je$$e Jack$on and the fake, glossy, used car salesman McAuliffe are not such leaders. It would be nice to have a counterpart in government to check the Republicans, if for no other reason than to maintain the US tradition, but the current democrats do not provide that. They masquarade their fearful stalling tactics as some some sort of coherent opposition while biding for time and some leadership. If that new democrat "leadership" rises from the far left and brings us more of the same old tired appeals to racism and class struggle well that can only lead to more Bush victories, uhh I mean Bush defeats...

Great democracy where Pim Fortyun is (was) considered a 'right-wing extremist'.
This man was gay
he would be to left for the USA
He wasn't that right extremist either, he just said what he thaught.
He said things like moslims intergrate bad
And the moslim believe is not good for women generaly wich is true.
Than there always some lefties who gonna say he is discriminating and he is to right
But he was right :D
-
Pim Fortuyn's mindset had some right-wing extremist elements in it, on the other hand, some of his ideas resembled those usually found with rather left from the middle positioned people. Thus he can't be labeled a regular 'right-wing extremist' or the like.
On some points he was right, on the majority he was wrong. His strongpoint was the ability to recognize problems, his weakness was the inability to develop realistic cures/solutions for them. All in all, if he would have been elected PM, his administration would have resigned by now and his reputation would have been destroyed because of his lack of experience and his aversion towards cooperation with other political groups and institutions.
It's a shame how he met his end, it's a good thing though that he never had a chance to take office and screw up.
