Title: DX 8.1 and WinXP

i just downloaded a Dplay 8.2 and DX8.1 package and it says its not compadible with XP..... but when i downloaded it the site said it was

what do i have to do to make it work?

Windows XP already inlcudes DX 8.1, so that should not be your problem.

You can confirm this at Microsoft's site, but I can tell you that I have already confirmed it with another game.
