Where did the SBD-3 skins come from? Missing the prop spinner tho.

Prop spinner? Are you sure you're not thinking of the Helldiver?

All SBDs prior to the -5 were delivered with small prop spinners. By the fall of 1942, most had been removed to ease servicing of the prop. Eventually a service memo was issued, ordering all spinners to be removed from aircraft operating outside CONUS. At Midway, the vast majority of SBDs still had the spinner installed. Here are some examples, one of which is the Osprey SBD book featuring about 30 color profile plates:

In addition, I have dozens of SBD photos at home, and can provide you with some should they be wanted.
By the way, the skins are gorgeous. Very nice work.

Ahhh, cool info on the SBD-3. Thanks, WW. I'll remember you if I need to do any more skins for this. :)
The Dauntless we have in AH is the -5... unfortunately only the skins can be modified, not the geometry. Someday...?
