Call out the Ol' Ironsides!  Attack!

) U.S. federal authorities have cracked the case of an international hacker who broke into roughly 100 unclassified U.S. military networks over the past year, officials said.

Officials familiar with the investigation declined to identify the hacker, a British citizen, but said he could be indicted as early as Tuesday in federal courts in northern Virginia and New Jersey. Those U.S. court jurisdictions include the Pentagon in Virginia and Picatiny Arsenal in New Jersey, one of the Army's premier research facilities.

You west coasters are so "3 hours ago".  See my post.  Probably not the same wording as yours, but close enough.  Sometimes those URLs can change. :p

Rip1, I like you but shut up dude. :)

So some hacker living the U.K. did it. It has zero reflection on the average U.K. citizen's opinion of the U.S.A.

After all, because he's a hacker, if he's any good he learned everything he knew in Finland. :)

When New York City Democrat Ed Koch appeared on a BBC television program at the one-year anniversary of the Twin Towers attacks, he was called a simple-minded buffoon for defending the U.S. Here is a representative response from the BBC Web site: "The fact is that one of the reasons why the U.S. got bombed on September 11th was as a result of the U.S.'s heavy-handed and misguided approach in its foreign policy--which has created a lot of anger worldwide." The Londoner who wrote that has much company across her continent: In a study by the Pew Research Center two months after the attacks, fully 66 percent of a group of European elites stated that Europeans believe it is "good for the U.S. to feel vulnerable."

Say what you want about the British; when we need them, they are there. Same with Canadians and Australians.

ROFL, "sucks wazoo"?

It's always to so funny to see Yanks trying English Beer or even Cider. They often fall over after a couple of pints. I thought this was down to the fact that most US beer is pure gnatspiss, but then I discovered that US citizens have a lower tolerance for alcohol than we humans.:D

Your are all missing the point...........

what is sad is that the U.S military has a system that can be hacked into.

Thank goodness it was only a Brit that got into the system, what I am thinking is what if Iraq or Al Qaeda got into it?

Stop the whinning , we Brits did ya a favour!;)
