just a tiny bit worried about all the posts lately asking for 1.11 stuff.
i hope you all remember that HiTech closed the BBs when everyone started getting demanding about 1.10.
i havent seen that much of a "rudness" (is that a word) yet in these posts but..... i can see in 2-3 weeks some people getting downright ornary.
yes i too love the new releases. personally though since i'm in an LW squad the new allied planes are meaningless to me. (not to mean i dont care about HTC's work.. i just wont be flying those planes so im not all "giddy" about the newest bestest pony model or p-3900z or whatever)
also with all the bugs everyone pointed out in 1.10; and the effort it took to fix them.... i wouldn't be suprised that they are spending alot of time in a test lab of some sort re-re checking what they have done so far.
being a self-affirmed HTC addict the video they showed of the lightened guns was awsome. i also realize what a huge effort it was to do that. introducing a whole new light source to the game requires a major re-write to the code (from what i understand). i think there are big big things to come in the next year or 2.... and I'll be patient. (with all the stress in my life why get anxious about a hobby)
ending with a bit of a thought for you all.....
how many of you have TRULY mastered all aspects of the game and all the Planes? if there's still room for improvement why are you anxious for more things you have yet to master?
(im personally only a master at going to the earth as a flaming dart)

I asked HT about that during the con. The boards weren't closed do to all the news whines.

It's a wish list, I don't take it seriously, doesn't sound as if you do.
If I ask for Elephants with Howdahs and a .450 express rifle to shoot the pilots from as they run from the tower to the planes will HTC slam the phone down and cry "Enough!"? [If we get the Jumbos, might we also have some Tigers to shoot from our Howdahs? I'd prefer to be modeled wearing a fez, smoking a cheroot, and I'd really like the .360 no.2, .400 Express No. 2, and the hammer .577 BPE modeled as well--maybe a Bolt Action .505 Gibbs or the veritable .404 Jeffreys? Also, let's model the acceleration, turning radius, and slow-pilot thrashing capacity of our Jumbos properly can't we?What what?]
I hope not, I am sure they get their ideas and keep their fingers on the pulse this way, as they shgould. They seem to be savvy enough to sort the wheat (that would be everything I say) from the Chaff.
If there are any whiners, let them whine, it's what they're best at and I hate to see them apply themselves to logic or tact when they might spend more profitable time pursuing the allocation of itching powder to their jockstraps.

midnight ...I didn't forget... it's just that it prolly will be 100+ perks and will be tough as nails to land with no gear. prolly wont see ma in a ton of them unless it can out turn a zeke/fm2 and stop on a dime then zoom again like a p47 and it can run down a 262 (all in 1 package) :D

It had something to do with the BBS and the login server being on the same machine and the flood of BBS traffic was affecting logins..,..or something like that.

The board had to be closed because of the problems all the traffic was causing us. It was a poor choice of words that was used in the maintenance message that made it seem otherwise to many people.
