I just read that!!! :( !!
Maybe they are just waiting so they can add engine over heats, gunjams (not random, but only jam for reasons) and GlosterGladiator/Cr42 so we can have some early war malta setups :D
PS I'm assuming this will be like CT, where there are certain historic setups each week in different periods of the war correct?
-
Wait what will come, please. There will be surely enough to be excited!
-
Great... just great. More months of MA foolishness.
-
Umm Pyro actually said that they might push it off to the next version.

It's all good

have faith ye heathens

Chill... the game is good just like it is. Want a mission arena? Make a mission and get your countrymen to join. Want the AH version of a 'ultra real' arena? Wait on HT and the boyz to do some tweaking, knowing them it will be worth the wait.
-
I'd rather than have it complete in 1.12 or 1.13 than half assed in 1.11. Not a problem as far as I'm concerned, You only have to think about it for a minute to imagine how much work a dynamic arena such as this is. Keep working on it HTC (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/stant.family/Aceshigh/salute.gif)

Thats OK! I rather see a solid 1.11, than a rushed version. Keep up the good work HTC! :)

It's not going to be like CT with rotating war periods but rather start out in 1943 and go on from there in a dynamic mission setting.

I agree 100%

I bet HTC is addressing this totally new concept to online play with solid ideas. I want to see this be as smooth as possible and be light years ahead of the competition. Sure you could slap something together and throw it out to see if it sticks. But that's not the way to approch this new concept.
I for one take your statement of delay to confirm your committment to a new and well thought out idea. I think the mission arena will revolutionize WWII online flight sims.
HTC take your time! Of course we wanted it, heheeee, yesterday:)
HTC, is this the correct tact? How about a hint of your ideas? I look forward to it and hope this idea will empty the MA and do away with US planes fighting US planes etc. I look forward to something that will draw me back time and time again to complete a giant task as opposed to just furballing for points, which gets boring fast or comming online to capture a few bases and walking away empty knowing that all that was done will be undone the next time I log on.

Wait what will come ???
Nothing will come instead of more plane sno 1 needs.
And a tiger tank who ....... wioth the current GV damage model ?
Its an whine machine nothing more. I really look forward to people whining on channel 1 "whahahaha a 51 got my tank in 1 pass" whahahahaa.
This landgrabbing is getting lame real lame.
We have no targets for buff and we have no real strat targets.
Why shoudl i waste my time on hitting a factory ??
Just to bring my perks up ? What for ? To fly a 234 and let my drones crash on landing ????
Why should i kill HQ just to see 6 goons 1 minute later making it 100% again in 1 run. ?
Its all the same watermelon in the MA over and over again.
I really hope for the mission theater. I am sick of this MA chit. THe only reason why i fly in there are the mates with which i can chat a little bit. Nothing more. The fun is gone.
Really sad. I used to like this game alot. And spend alot of my spare time here.
I am really dissapointet.

Too early for that Ffreeze, wait 'till the update is out and you can check whats in the readme file.
Edit: Looks like you're pretty new in here.
HTC has a nice habit to add some extra to the new versions without telling anything about it before the upgrade is out.

Smoothing connection, that sounds nice!

Nope staga i am here since AW droped a year ago.
I know that HT puts a lot of effort in his update and i really know that he is doing good work.
The only thing i am complaining about is the poornes in which the MA turned in the last couple weeks and month.
The Main problem is that it became to many players.
Every nite is just 1 more huge furball.
I know some people like it but it is killing the fun for me.
And i am sure i am not only speaking for myself.
In Aw we had a 250 player limit each nite and that made it playble.
400+ player on Mindanao ???? Thats no deal.
I personal think that the pizza map wa a good beginning in bringing more strat in it.
The only thing the pizza map is laging is the terrain color and the plenty bugs it still have. For example the elevation of some fields.
I can speak just for me but i am really thinking about cancelling my acount. It is no fun for me anymore. But all the friends i found on each side keeps me here. If wouldnt be here i would not play it.
It is beginning to suck arse

Exactly.
Do you want a good implementation or a bad one?
I'm gald that HTC is working on fixing playability issues so we can all enjoy AH.
-
I say let HTC do his job and make the MisA better. I'd rather get it later than bugridden.

You mean they are gonna shorten the war by 4 years!? Only late war? no early or mid war battles? that stinks :(

Who said this and where?

so cajun... can you please tell us the exact amount of jams each gun system encountered in each plane in WWII? perhaps you can tell us how long and under what conditions each engine in WWII overheated. I'm sure that the numbers you give will not be a source of controversy.
hint... for what we are doing... neither number would be significant or useful.

Gun jams and Overheat, occasional engine failure... stuff like that would be pretty cool.

I don't know myself, but any simi accurate system would be great than not having it at all. I'm sure HTC has a general Idea of the performance of most engines in WW2... read vehichle/aircraft discussions you'd be surprised how much some ppl know about this stuff!
As for gun jams, you won't get any jams if don't do ne thing to make it jam, and some guns are more likely to jam when pulling hard G's, especially the bigger guns, I think smaller ones jammed allot less. I heard that the average gun jams would be about 1 in every 2000-3000 rounds.. but I don't know what gun they were talking about.
