hahaha it's all isreal's land. They own it and have for thousands of years. The arabs stole it from them way back when.... :rolleyes:
Besides all that the land was lost in wars that Isreal had to take part in because her neighbors want her dead. Does annan honestly think that Isreal could give that land up and survive? PUHLEASE! The ragheads would be on them like white on rice. I'm sure many wouldn't mind that though being as most people seem to hate jews.

The Arabs actually stole it from the Christian crusaders, who had massacred most of the Jews and driven them out.
You live on land stolen from American Indians, the English live on land stolen from the Celts, the French on land stolen from the Celts, the Spanish land solen from the Moors, who stole it from... (ad nauseum)
If it's Israeli land, Israel is running an apartheid state worse than South Africa's, because Arabs living on it are denied citizenship, most legal rights, and basic human rights.

You mean like the 1967 war, when the Arab armies overran all of Israel from their poitions on the West Bank? Israel is dominant in the region, even more so now than it was 35 years ago.
It's not about security. If it was, Isral wouldn't ration water to the Palestinians to 20% of what's allowed for Jews, which breeds resentment, and causes poverty, both of which increase terrorism.
Israel wouldn't allow the settlements, and the settlers who carry out pogroms against the Palestinians, which again increases resentment and poverty.
The settlements are there because Israel wants the land. The victimization of the Palestinians is there because Israel doesn't want the Arabs who live on the land.

This a great quote. What exactly did the UN do when the Arabs tried twice to wipe out Isreal? Nothing is what I recall.
In fact they cheerfully stepped out of the way so Egypt would have no buffer to deal with.

No, if you steal something from me, it's still mine. If your great great grandfather stole something from my great great grandfather, it's too late to do anything about it.
Besides, it's not just about what's been stolen over the last 35 years. Most of the WB is still owned by Palestinians, and it's being stolen day by day.

What would the U.N. do, come up witha strongly worded resolution?
I would feel so safe if the U.N. would protect my country like this.... Annan is a true leader of the world, and many fear crossing the U.N.

I think what he meant was the US and many other European nations. But then thats politics. I think Isreal has alot of allies, everybody knows that. Call it whatever they like or see it. In the end, Isreal is here to stay. Thats for sure.
