There you are, driving from Florida to Cali ... crossing thru Tuxon, AZ ... it's 100+ outside, hours of driving thru the desert and dustdevils ... then you read "Beware of ICE on the bridge".
Makes you wonder if the sun didn't hit your head. :p

BTW, I know why the sign is there. It's just funny "in the context describe above".

well, we did get about 1/8" of snow a few years ago :p

Frenchy drove an 'X" car in France?:)
Anyway, the one I can see in the picture looks like a road cruiser. Nice color blue too.

I think I pulled one of these out of my Pick-em-up truck grill once...all this time I thought it was a big lady bug (shrugs)

My favorites are in Nevada. They have you slow to 20 through every remote town so you'll think really hard about stopping at the one gas station there. Then, after the town there will be 4 signs in 100 feet... go from 20 -> 40 -> 60 ->75. In 100 feet. Grandpa's damn minivan could never hit 75 before we got to the last sign... I was always worried I'd get a ticket.

Some of the nomenclature used for roads in the desert are unique to say the least. On hwy 14 going to Vegas theres an exit for a road called Zzyzxx road. Gets a chuckle outa me everytime I see it :)

Only a Slacker would drive a car like that :D

She's a sweety ... V8 5.0, leather interior, AC, PS, power everything ... 22.3 mpg@60MPH. This thing hoovers above the road.
The only problem is the constant gentle ack and forth, puts u too sleep.

Is it the Mercury or the Lincoln? I should be able to tell them apart from that angle but for some reason I can't. Guess I'm getting forgetful in my old age.
Somehow my brain wants to say Lincoln though. They look similar from that angle.
Regardless, it's a beautiful model of car and a damn crime they don't still build 'em like that. An absolute dream to drive, puts modern "luxury" cars to shame. Only bad thing was the steering could have been a bit tighter and the rear end wobbles a bit on bumps :)
