Was it the big plastic purple ones? I had a set for about 1 1/2 years, beat the crap out of em dropped, kicked, rolled my chair over cord, etc. The sound kicked out on one side. Replaced with the new blue and silver plastic set seems abit more robust...

These were the blue ones with silver lettering. I could have been a bit more careful with them I spose - tossed em on the couch, ran over the wires, etc. Guess Ill just order new ones - thanks

I've got the Plantronics Audio 90 (which I bought after reading recommendations here on the AH BBS) and it is the best computer headset I've ever owned. Good, solid feeling, great sound, and great microphone.
Best part is the price, at $30, it's hard to beat for value/performance/quality.
