Get Mozilla or Netscape 7.0, pop up stopping is built in.  I tried one of the add-on products, but it wasn't as seamless as the built in kind.  Why use a separate program to do what your browsers can do by itself?  

I hope pop-ups soon go the way of the do-do bird.  There's no way they're actually effective as advertising gimmicks.

What settings in netscape allows you to kill pop-ups?

I use Pop-Up Stopper from http://www.panicware.com

Works well and it's easily enabled and disabled from the task par if I'm doing something that requires pop ups.

Just hold the control key down if you want it to let a pop-up go through.

I have tried several.  I only found one that stops them all (I really hate popups) Meaya pop up ad filter. I looked for what librarys use.  This is what came up, and it works.

Thx RA, Just installed it and it works like a charm.  I wish that IE had sopmething similar built into it as well.
