Title: Can't get past login screen

Game plays fine offline but locks up right after I enter my password .

Check ur Firewall. Do u use zonealarm ?
If yes it is not locked. Zonelalarm just wants a confirmation that u allow Aces High connection to the internet. press Y and the R and it should workl

does sound like firewall,tell us what you are using....you do have a valid account yes? :)

It's not the firewall . It locks up after I answer yes, and also locks up when the firewall is disabled . It locks up at connecting time 0.0 . I'll try reinstalling it again .

Give AH acces to the internet and close Zonealarm.
for some reason some times ZA doesnt allow someprogramms acces to the internet even when u click allow.
Disable Zonelalarm AFTER u bootet ur computer.
Then u should be able to connect.

Zonealarm is known for messing with the system settings.
Try to remove the AH entry from Zonealarm so that it has to ask again when u enter the next time.
AH might look up like u have it now and u have to reboot ur computer. This happens cuase Zonealarm waiting for an action in the backround.
After u rebootet go into ur Zonealarm and set AH to allow to connect ot the internet. Then disable Zonealarm and start AH again.

I had a lot of problems with Zonelalrm and AH myself.
And ur problem sounds liema firewall problem specially if u use Zonelalarm.

There is one other area of ZA that is often overlooked, and WILL cause the problem you're having. See the screenshot below..

I had removed ZA from my startup files and still had the same problem . I've been using ZA for over a year now without any problems . I really don't think it was a firewall issue . I finally just restored my system and that fixed the problem whatever it was .
