I discovered these a few weeks ago.  This is a treasure trove of information.  All the history on the NACA cowl, eperiments with fule, turbo supercharging.  It's all here, if you can get through all the engineering.

Yeah, good stuff. There is really tons of interesting material in the NACA server. Hopefully they continue that project until all available stuff is scanned; there appears to be a lot of NACA papers which are not even listed in their own lists.
