Anyone got any ideas WTF hit me? I was engaging and suddenly got zapped back to the tower.

I took a look at your film..   You had a couple P51s swoop down on your six and 1 was at point blank range.

I'd say you had a rapid and severe case of lead poisoning.

BTW, my film viewer locked up repeatedly trying to watch that. Only way I could get through was full reboot.

Then it would hang again when I viewed it a second time.

My 2 cents.

Yup it hung my film viewer too. There were no hits though, not even the usual pinging in the tower afterwards. So I don't think it was a case of lead poisoning.

My kill was given to a B17, so it wasn't one of the P51's.
