Title: Rudder Pedals
Post by: Conagher on November 23, 2002, 09:07:12 PM
I remember seeing someone post here that they used a siatek X45 with rudder pedals. Does anyone out there know how you can make this work.

Thanks in advance

Yes!  I do it.

I take it you have analog rudders and the USB X45, correct.  If you have USB rudders then this info is totally out the window!  :)

I use a seperate joystick (old CH Flightstick) that I plug my analog pedals into.

Both of them will then show up in the Windows Control Panel /Gaming Options areas.   Will show up as 2 seperate joysticks: X45 and 2-axis, 2 button joystick.  You use the 2-axis, 2 button joystick only for input for your rudders, because your rudders are plugged into this old joystick.

There are some special setting in the joystick setup area of Aces High you need to use.  I forget what they are but it deals with setting the rudder to the Z axis.  Someting like that.  If this is your problem let me know and I will investigate further!

Good Luck
