For the last week or so i have even wondered if some numbers balancing has started, as Rooks numbers have definitely been on the up.
I may have to review my policy of rarely fighting the Rooks.

Then again i cant help but love hating the Bish ;)

on your reset.

I think the numbers have been getting better since a couple squads switches over.  It is to early to say whether they are 'fixed' or even possibly 'imbalanced' the other way.

BTW, it is pretty normal for the country that wins a reset to be attacked by the other two, so the fact that bishops and knights both hit rooks hard this morning after the reset doesn't really have anything to do with the numbers.

Lately I've seen the bish in the basket, rooks on top, and nits somewhere in the middle.  Old habits are hard to break, though, and I still hit the Bish more than Rooks.  Serves them right for outnumbering everyone else for so long  :D

Bish and Rook numbers are pretty consistantly even lately (past couple weeks), and kniggits still have the usual 10-15% number advantage.

I think what we saw happen here last night, was the Rooks and Bishops getting a little fed-up with the huge numbers advantage that the Knights had.

Props to the Bishops for pressing the attack, even though Rooks were ahead in fields, to push the reset, instead of playing "hoe tactics" like the Knights would do by lifting the attack when they're behind on bases to steal the reset later (when they get out of school at 3pm).  Salute, Bishops!

well... I don't think there will ever be a fix, aside from what HTC is planning on now... of which I have no idea how it works.   Anyway, the players' community took care of the numbers issue by themselves.  Whether this is a 'fix' or not, things has changed.  And when things change again, the community would respond again. :)

Hoe = "A tool with a flat blade attached approximately at a right angle to a long handle, used for weeding, cultivating, and gardening."

Are you accusing the Knights of being gardeners? shame on you.

Hehe, you would be one of few in the arena who don't come after Rooks
;)
But, surely you have realized by this time that it doesn't matter to Rooks

No it doesn't but, it has everything to do with their preferences to hit Rooks to the exclusion of all else at times, and at other times, to the absolute detriment of their country's strategic action.
If you are Rook, you know it is a given, regardless of whether you are on the verge of a reset or, if you have won a reset.

Hehe, and it took a Bishop to point out the obvious
;)
Yeah this tactic is so clear it would take an unconcious person NOT to see it for what it is.  A great big WTG to Bish for playing like warriors, instead of using weasel like tactics and calling it strategy :D

Don unlike many i have some self respect and refuse to kick a dog when its down.
This month is an anomaly and i have had to kill a bigger percentage of Rooks cos you bin gitting uppity :D

But last month it was 286 Bish and 57 Rooks i think.
In fact i will often fly alone rather than with the squad just so i can go after the Bish.
