Man, what fun! That was the most intense TOD for me personally in along time! The buff formations and their escort, frustrating as a LW pilot, yet it was an act of historical beauty. The escort were doggedly "tight" and true to form, the buff formations seemed to have perfect boxes. Multiple waves made me groan while at the same time gave me the feeling that I was really "there".
To the Allied formations and escort. (I was that lone pesky 190D late in your run that kept up with you for about 75 miles generally harassing the pack and avoiding the escort)

Have to agree, was the most fun yet. Of all the fun TODs this seemed to be the most like what I imagine it to have been like.
One of those pesky pony buff defenders.

Did you check the logs to see what killed ya Vulcan? I've made it a habit to turn film on, that way if something freaky happens, its accountable.
